Linjett 36 will be the tenth model from Linjett Yachts. Finding its natural place between the Linjett 34 and Linjett 39, the new Linjett 36 will be agile and joyful to sail, while simultaneously being effortless to handle. Linjett 36 will sail in 2025 and the first boats will be delivered in 2026.
"When designing the Linjett 36, we focused on providing a great sailing experience in a compact and easy-to-handle format. It is a yacht that is small yet dignified. The silhouette is updated, but the Linjett lines and heritage remain present. We think we have managed to capture the essence and design language of Linjett in a new and charming format."
Stefan Gylleby, project manager at Linjett Yachts
Linjett 36 will be the first from Linjett with a fixed bowsprit, something that facilitates fast and fun sailing with code and asymmetric downwind sails. These are handled easily and safely as, like on the Linjett 39, they are hoisted directly out of the generous sail locker in the bow. The bowsprit is designed to house an electric code furler and a bow anchor with windlass. A key element in designing the bowsprit was to find a solution that enabled easy boarding and disembarking via the bow.
The large cockpit is a natural evolution of the popular Linjett 39, with a dedicated helmsman's position behind the wheels, where all sailing functions and instruments are easily accessible to the helmsman. In front of the wheels, there is a sheltered space for guests and those on board who are not actively sailing.
We have met several sailors who have expressed a desire for a yacht that combines the comfort and equipment level of a larger yacht, with the agility of a smaller yacht. The Linjett 36 meets these needs and is a compact alternative for those who appreciate the Linjett 39 but want a bit more space than our Linjett 34 offers.
The Linjett 36 will have two comfortable and spacious cabins with easy access in and out of the generous berths. The galley is amply sized to allow for proper cooking and the heads is large enough to move freely and shower comfortably in.
Instead of maximizing the number of berths, we chose to provide more space for the interior functions and generously sized storage spaces. The Linjett 36 also has dedicated space for optional equipment, which allows owners the opportunity to get a well-equipped and customized yacht in a compact and manageable format,
The Linjett 36 is the first Linjett to feature a fixed bowsprit, designed to make sailing with codes and gennaker accessible for cruising. These sails are hoisted directly from the large sail locker in the bow, ensuring safe and manageable handling. The bowsprit is compatible with an electric code furler from Seldén and a bow anchor with windlass. The anchor is stored underneath the sprit and the line runs through the bowsprit to the anchor box.
To conveniently step on and off the bow with the integrated bowsprit, our Linjett Design Team have developed a smart, custom ladder that fits well. It is easy to mount on and off, and the bottom part can be folded up. Naturally, it has its own space in the bow storage compartment.
"Tiden om bord gjorde at vi stadig oppdaget små detaljer som underbygde vår positive opplevelse av båten."
